Posting pictures

Some people have had trouble posting pictures so I have made this guide to help you out. Images that you want to post must be uploaded to am image hosting website such as www.photobucket.com. If you don't have an account it is free to sign up and upload your photos.

1. Create an account with www.photobucket.com and uploaded your photo

2. Go to your library and click on the photo. To the right of the screen you will see a selection of links under "Share this photo". It will look like this:

Image

Copy the "IMG Link"

3. When making your post in the forums simply paste this IMG link where you would like the image to appear

That's it! When you click submit your image will appear in your post where you pasted the link. The image will appear fairly small but can be clicked on to enlarge it and scroll through the images in the post if there is more then one.

NOTE:

Photobucket seems to develop issues now and again preventing access to the site. You can use http://imageshack.com as an alternative. When you join just skip all the steps with the special offers, it's free and you don't need them. You will need to copy the "direct link" and paste this in the forum. Then highlight that link and click on the icon of the photo (2nd from the right in the orange strip above). This will add the image tags either side of the Image Shack link and your pic will appear in the forums :-)

Mark, now that photobucket is broken are there any similar sites that are just as easy to use that you know of?

Thanks
