Are you on about the Calimoto app? I does actually work really well and it's free if you have just one map. Shame others cost more but I guess they need to make their money! Merry xmas to you too buddy

I've had my fair share of problems with apps, especially in cities where they are just too slow for a quick succession of turns.
Is this one any different???

I've had no problem with this app ! It's fine when picking up son from Winchester university there's plenty of tall buildings and a lot of turn's all I can say is try it you can always wipe it .
Cheers for the heads up. Might just give it a try :)
Let us know how it goes ?
If I ever get to it... Got myself a Garmin 590LM which I reckon will get used the most ;)
I installed Co Pilot on my Android Phone, which I used quite a lot through last year, linked up to Bluetooth. I think it has an evaluation period to use then you need a licence its reasonably priced. I've also installed Mapsme which is Free and seems ok.
The thing about both these apps is they are quite memory intensive and you'll usually only get a couple of hours power on a fully charged phone battery. So you best to have power source to your phone.

Better to wear out than rust out
Ossian??? I used to live in Ossian Road. Blimey, haven't come across that name in years!

All I do on downloads move from internal memory to my 32g card and power from bike on longer rides .

One thing I like about my Tracer is it has a 12v socket so I can power my phone easily too. Don't worry, there are other things I like about the bike much more then this! But it's handy :-)
