Hi guy's new to the forum and biking at 61 years of age.
I'm in the process of training for my CBT however as usual I jumped the gun and have put a deposit down on a bike.

This is where I get roasted.......the bike in question is a Keeway superlight 125 custom.
I know fucking Chinese....anyway I toyed with the idea of second hand Honda Shadow but unfortunately don't have the readies for that so took out a quick hp agreement.

There definitely is mixed opinions on them ranging from shit to great value for money, I'm planning to keep it for a year or two before go for my full licence and then a visit to West Coast Harley in Glasgow well that's the plan.

Any out there with experience of this bike.

Hi mate welcome along :-)

I think over the years the Chinese made bikes have improved. From what I've seen they are using betting quality materials and components now. If you are planning on keeping for a year or two I don't think in that time you will have any major issues! I think what they have suffered with badly before is corrosion so perhaps keep it in a garage or under a cover to keep the rain at bay and if you ride in the wet give it a rinse when you can to wash off any salt picked up off the road :-)

I ain't gonna roast you! When do you get your hands on the bike?

I’ve got one also as my 1st bike. The low riding position gave me confidence as I was worried about my feet not being able to reach the floor. The seat handle the bumps in the road well including speed bumps. It’s out 1st bike and so far it does as it says on the tin
