Paddock Stand Recommendation

On 16/01/2018 at 17:17

Hi there,
I have a Triumph Street Cup and am looking to purchase Front & Rear Paddock Stands.
I have ordered the Bobbin from Tec Parts which runs through the rear axle.
It seems whichever customer review one reads there are always some negative ones, so hoping someone on here can recommend a decent strong set of stands from personal experience.

Sorry for taking ages to reply, I've been away for a few days. I have a rear stand in the garage which I don't need anymore. It's the sort which has the "L" shaped attachments that rest under the swingarm. It's a been a while since I saw a Street Cup but if I remember rightly it would need the bobbins? If not though you are welcome to have this one.....

Sorry to experience of a paddock stand with bobbins myself however these seem to have good reviews (apart from the one person, although from his review it might seem he didn't really know how to use them)

Hi and thanks for the offer, however in the interim I have ordered a pair of one piece Paddock stands from Moto GP which look rock solid. Once I have tried them out I shall put a review on here. As the Street Cup does not have a bobbin, I purchased one from bike tech which goes thought the axle.

The MotoGP paddock stands are solidly built one piece bits of kit and the rear stand is perfect for the street cup. However the front one fouls the front wheel hub and would damage it if I used it so looking for a work round or will have to sell it. For another bike it would be excellent and just a shame that it does not appear to be suitable for a Triumph Street Cup.
