What sort of budget have you got for gloves and boots? Buffalo make some good value gloves, my first gloves were a pair of Buffalo Arctics, cost about 25 quid and lasted 18 months of riding 76 miles a day through all weather. I then spent 165 quid a pair of proper winter gloves and they are not any warmer then the Buffalos! Anyway, you won't want winter gloves now of course :-) But might be worth looking at their range: https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_cat/1684

Boots I struggle with myself. Still to find some that I think are really good. At the moment I have a pair of Richa boots which are okay but nothing fancy. If you are just getting one pair of boots to use all year round make sure they are waterproof! Feet get really very wet on a bike when it's raining haha. Take a look and see what takes your fancy, loads of reviews on this site too which is handy :-) https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_cat/62
