Hi everyone, I'm mike from The Wirral, NW England, Had Trikes , bikes and all sorts over the years, 45 years of riding Now 60 years old riddled with arthritis so have gone from a xv1100 down to a 550 Zephyr, finding the riding position difficult on the hips so will be trying to fit forward controls to it, it won't look very nice but so long as it keeps me riding who gives a shit! If anyone has any other ideas, I am listening.

Hi Mike welcome along! Thanks for posting mate :-)

What is it in particular about the riding position that makes it tricky for your hips? Doesn't matter what the bike looks like, as long as you can stay riding!

i need to get my legs out in front and relaxed like a chop with forward controls not crunched up like on a sports bike as it put bad pressure on the knees , hips and back which means that i can only do short rides at the moment any more than 5 or 6 miles and its agony. ..............in short i should have got a chop!.........lol

Hi Mike! I'm thinking you 'need' a Triumph Thunderbird!
