Hello.
I new in the forum world and pretty new on two wheels to. I have been riding electric scooter for a year and since June I am happy owner of brand new shinny Yamaha tricity .125. It is definitely a transition since it is so much faster bigger and louder hehhe. Great fun. Learning a lot. It am starving for motorcycle related knowledge/tips as I am still new in it. Thanks

Hi mate and welcome to the forum :-) What was the electric scooter like? Tempted to test ride an electric bike and see what it's all about for myself! Think I would miss the sound of the engine though.....

What part of the country/world are you in?

It was more relaxing and easier to ride. I had a moped limited to 30 mph though (I did 6000 miles) and decided to go for faster but safer at the same time ( hence Yamaha tricycle). I am living in Lancaster north west UK and we have nice local roads to ride.

The front wheel tricycles are becoming steadily more popular. Yamaha are launching a beast of one next year called the Niken (although some people say it's not a trike as it leans and won't stand up on it's own). It has the same engine as the MT09 so 847cc with 114bhp. Looks like good fun :-)

We have some great roads down around my way although sadly ruined at the moment with all the pot holes and crap repairs the council do (I'm sure they fill them with rice crispies) which last all of a week!
