help buying a trike

On 17/10/2016 at 13:09

hi
i am 62 years old and wish to purchase a trike say a mp3 piagio 125 cc trike double front wheels,
now i passed my car driving test in 1981
in recent years i have been classed as disabled,
now ! i do not wish to take passengers, and because i have been given 6 months to live, i not interested in taking my test,
so can i purchase and ride away from the garage
a 125 cc instead of a 50 cc moped/scooter trike,
OR ARE THERE CRITERIA I NEED TO KNOW, BEFORE I PURCHASE, bearing in mind time is of the essence
please help

Hello, welcome to the site :-) Very sorry to hear of your situation, I guess everybody says that.....

You can indeed ride one of those trikes out the showroom without any tests or training needed as long as you have a full UK drivers licence. Its not classed as a motorcycle as it has 3 wheels :-)

sorry, i am so happy right now, that first thing Thursday morning i am spending, i have £3445 trying not to spend all on a bike,
need gear and such, like medium jacket, full leather winter gloves, and a blue tooth link from helmet to phone, to answer calls
